FORMER OFFICIAL OF VILLAGE DIES
Rites for William H. Walters, 69, Will Be Conducted at Home Saturday
Funeral services for William H. Walters, 69, well known and prominent resident of Depew who died suddenly Tuesday night will be held in the family home, 4569 Broadway, at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Lancaster Rural Cemetery.
Mr. Walters served three terms on the Depew Village Board as trustee from 1919 to 1925 and then was tax collector for two years. For many years he was connected with the electrical department of the Gould Coupier Company.
He leaves his wife, Fanny Zurbrick Walters: two sons. Dr. Howard Walters and Vern Walters of
Depew. and Mrs. Leslie Wagner of East Orange, N. J.
Mr. Walters was a member of Transit Lodge. I. O. O. F.
