The marriage of Miss Alice Marie Walters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Walters of 4569 Broadway, Depew, to Leslie A. Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Wagner of 150 Park pl., Irvington, N. J., was solemnized
Thursday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran Church Lancaster, by the Rev. George M. Bock.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white brocaded Silk marquisette with a train and triple veil. She wore a headdress of orange blossoms and lilies of the valley and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.
She was attended by Miss Gladys E. M. Sturm of 95 Merrymont circle, Cheektowaea, as maid of honor. She wore a brocaded silk marquisette gown and a wreath of roses and matching streamers. Miss Katherine Ann Troy of 67 West Albany st., Oswego, was bridesmaid, wearing a blue brocaded silk
marquisette gown and a wreath of roses and streams. Both carried colonial baskets of roes.
The bride's mother wore periwinkle blue lace with a corsage of pink roses and the bridegroom's mother wore dusky pink with a corsage of Johanna Hill Roses.
Best man was Charles Schaub Jr. of 6699 Ermund ter., Union. N. J., and the ushers were Dr. Howard W. Walters and Vern Walters, brothers of the bride. Philip Kramer was the organist and Miss Mary E. Compton of Belleville. N. J., assistant, Mrs. Edgar M. Compton, also of Belleville, was the soloist.
The church altar was decorated with palms and ferns with baskets of pink and white gladiolus and sprays of white giadiolus at each pew. A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. Covers were laid for 50
at the wedding dinner.
Out-of-town guests were present from Irvington. N. J.; Union. N. J.; Belleville. N. J.; Maplewood. N. J.; Alta Vista, Kan . Detroit, Mich; Cleveland. 0.; Rochester, Oswego, Niagara Falls and Cortland.
Following a two weeks trip to Bermuda, the couple will be at home at 209 Prospect st., East Orange, N. J.
