El Dorado. Ark\'97The wedding of Miss Juanita Ruth Ward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Ward of Prescott, and Robert H. Taylor, CM, third class, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Taylor of El Dorado, took place at 3 o'clock the afternoon of Oct. 3 at the First Methodlst church in Prescott.
The bride was dressed in blue crepe with which she used tan accessories and wore a corsage of white roses. Her only attendant was the bridegroom's sister, Miss Lottie Taylor of El Dorado, who wore a blue two-piece model with
corsage of pink Carnations.
Mr. Taylor had as best man the bride's brother, Bill Ward, student at the University of Arkansas.
Miss Rachel Black of Prescott, pianist, played "Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms," alma mater song of Magnolia A. & M. college, where both the bride and bridegroom attended school, and the traditional wedding marches.
Baskets of gladioluses and ferns marked the altar before which the Rev. S. T. Baugh read the service. The Rev. Mr. Baugh had officiated at the wedding of the bride's parents 25 years ago.
After a 10-day honeymoon in Hot Springs and a short visit home, the
bridegroom left for his post at Camp Parks, Cal., and the bride returned to her school at Emmett, Ark.
