Popular Clinton Girl and Young Man Married By Rev. A. M. Wells
Miss Anna Louise Stone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stone, 915 W. North street, and Roy P. Yanny, son of C. E. Yanny, of near Bloomington were married today in Decatur by Rev. A. M. Wells, formerly pastor of the Clinton M. E. church, now pastor of the Grace M. E. church in Decatur. The couple were accompanied by Miss Ada Bell Stone and Olan Harris of Clinton. After a short wedding trip the couple will return to Clinton for a brief visit before going to Bloomington where they will reside until March first after which they will move to a farm near Holder owned by Dr. C. E. Chapin of Bloomington.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stone and is well known in Clinton where she has always lived. She attended the Clinton high school but did not graduate. For several months she has been employed as clerk in the A. & P. store on the west side.
Mr. Yanny is prominent in his home vicinity and is an industrious young man. The couple has many friends who will extend congratulations.

Anna Louise Stone, of Clinton and Roy P. Yanney, of Holden, were married Wednesday morning by Rev. F. A. Havighurst in his home. They were accompanied by Ada Stone and Olan Harri, of Clinton. The bride is the daughter of John Stone of Clinton and the bridegroom is the son of Charles Yanney of Holden. The couple will live with the bride's parents till spring when they will move to a farm.

A. Louise Yanney, 87, formerly of 1013 N. Oak St., Normal, died at 12:30 a.m. yesterday (March 30, 1987) at Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa, where she had been a resdent 15 years.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, the
Rev. George Classen officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation will be an hour before the service at the memorial home.
She was born Oct. 31, 1899, in Clinton, a daughter of Berry an Nancy C. Durham Stone. She married Roy P. Yanney on Dec. 10, 1919, in Decatur. He died June 30, 1969.
Surviving are a son, Merle, Northglenn, Colo.; a daughter, Dorothy Leveck, Morton; five
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Bloomington, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Yanney worked as a nurse's aide at Mennonite Hospital and the Americana Nursing Home for many years.
