Kenneth Joseph Stieffel on Monday, April 15, 1996 at 10:20 PM. Beloved husband of Jerleen (Jerry) Taconi Stieffel, Father of Frank Kenneth, Eugene Joseph and JodyJames Stieffel, Robin Ann Bryant and Dawn Marie Ray. Son of the late Alton J. and Margaret Zitzmann Stieffel. Brother of Emile Laurent, Robert Dennis, Thomas Francis Stieffel, Annamae Silbernagel, Ann Bateman, Neli Bourgeois, Aggie Anderson, Ida Miller, Myra Stieffel and the late James Johnston Stieffel and Jane Olivier. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. He was employed by Avondale Shipyards, Inc. for 35 years. Aged 55 years. A native of New Orleans, La., a former resident of Waveland, Ms. and a resident of Harahan, La. for over 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Avondale Shipyards are invited to attend the funeral services from LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 4747 Veterans Blbd., near Clearview, on Wednesday evening, April 17, 1996 at 8:00 PM and the graveside service at Fayard Cemetery, Waveland, Ms. on Thursday, April 18, 1996 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7:00 PM till 10:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM till 9:30 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
