Emerita A. Culpepper
Funeral services for Emerita Alicia Culpepper, 90, whose late husband, John, founded the Modesto Business College, are scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, Modesto.
She died Friday in a local hospital, following a long illness.
She was a teacher at the business college for 20 years.
A resident of Modesto since 1915 and of California since 1904. she was a memher of the First Christian Church. She was born in Louisiana.
She is survived by her daughter. Mrs. Mildred L. Hayes of Modesto; her sister, Anita Jones of Berkeley; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
