Top Beauty in 1960 To Marry
MEMPHIS. Tenn. -UPI\'97
   Former Miss America Lynda Lee Mead plans to he married Saturday to a Memphis ear surgeon in a ceremony at near-by Germantown.
   Miss Mead, 25, a Natchez, Miss., native who won the Miss America title in I960, will marry Dr. John Shea, who gained national recognition for an ear operation he developed.
   The wedding will he at Our Perpetual Health Church in Germantown.
   Shea has two young daughters by a previous marriage, which was annulled by the Roman Catholic Church.
   Miss Mead is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She studied speech and design in New York after her year's reign as Miss America. She also appeared on numerous television commercials.
