ILLNESS FATAL FOR WINTELER
Assistant City Electrician Dies at 65
Arthur Paul Winteler, 65, assistant city electrician since 1946, died at 1:30 p. m. Monday in Touro Infirmary following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the House of Bultman, 3338 St. Char;es. Interment will be in the garden of Memories.
Prior to joining the city, Mr. Winteler operated the Winteler Electric Company. He was a native of New Orleans.
He was active in local music groups and Masonic activities for many years.
Mr. Winteler was a national board member of the American Guild of Music Artists, a member of the New Orleans Opera Association 14 years, and belonged to the charter's group of Jerusalem Temple, Louisiana Lodge 102, F & AM. and the Grand Consistory of Louisiana.
Surviving are his widow, the former May McNulty; five children, Mrs. Roland Villarubia, Mrs. A. Dazet, and Mrs. George Oechsner, all of New Orleans, Mrs. Charles Kotchan and Michael H. Burger, both of San Diego; and his mother, Mrs. Regina Chauff.

WINTELER -- On Monday afternoon, August 3, 1959, at 1:30 o'clock, ARTHUR PAUL WINTELER, age 65 years; husband of May McNulty, father of Mrs. Roland Villarubia, Mrs. A. Dazet, and Mrs. George Oechsner, of this city, Mrs. Charles Kotchan and Michael H. Burger, of San Diego, Calif., son of Regina Chauff and the late Arthur M. Winteler, also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of the Louisiana Lodge No. 102, F. amd A. M., Jerusalem Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S. Grand Consistory of Louisiana, A. and A. S. R. M., and the Chanters and members of the New Orleans Opera House Association are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Wednesday afternoon, August 5, 1959, at 2 o'clock, at the House of Bultman, St Charles Ave. at Louisiana Ave.
Interment in Garden of Memories, Airline Hwy.
Friends may call between the hours of 7 and 10 p. m. Tuesday and after 12 o'clock noon Wednesday.
