To the Honorable the Judges of the Civil District Court for the parish of Orleans.
The petition of Peter Kaiser Sr. of age and a resident of New Orleans.
Respectfully shows that petitioner was married to Elizabeth Schmidt in Germany in 1844, and removed shortly thereafter with his wife to New Orleans. That she was married but once and then to petitioner.
That petitioner's said wife departed this life intestate in the City of New Orleans on the 27th. day of December, 1887.
That at the time of the death of said Elizabeth Kaiser (born Schmidt) there were living issue of her marriage with petitioner the following named children; John Kaiser, Peter Kaiser, Charles Kaiser, Elizabeth Kaiser, wife of Julius Wolfarth, Julia Kaiser, wife of John Collins, and George S. Kaiser, who were her sole and only heirs at law.
