BANKSTON , ESTELLE WILLIAMS
A resident of Hammond, she died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 73 and a native of Greensburg.
Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Hicks. Interment in Bankston (Fourth Ward) Cemetery. Survived by a daughter, Betty Carol Carr, Hammond; a son, John Patrick Bankston , Baton Rouge; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Imogene Welborn and Bernice Bond, both of Greensburg.
Preceded in death by husband, Floyd T. Bankston ; an infant daughter; two sisters, Natalie Hubbs and Evelyn Fletcher; two brothers, Ovis and Collins Williams; father, Lendolph Williams; and mother, Betty Doughty Williams Redmond.
