Lottie M. Little, 98, of Tampa, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Brighton Gardens of Tampa Bay. She was born October 11, 1914 in Monroe County, Alabama. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Merritt (Roy) and Barbara Charlesworth (Robert) of Tampa; sister, Erlene Williamson (George) of Brewton, Alabama; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, J. H. Little, who died in 1987; parents, Oscar and Maggie Ward; one sister and six brothers. She was a grand lady in every sense and will forever have a very special place in the hearts of her surviving friends and family members. To the staff and caregivers of Brighton Gardens and LifePath Hospice, the family extends a heartfelt thank you for all the wonderful care provided. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to Brighton Gardens or LifePath Hospice.
