EARL "PETE" BRANFORD WARD
Earl "Pete" Branford Ward, 69 of Jay, Fla. died Monday, March 17, 1997 in Jay Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Ward lived in Jay 65 years. He was an active member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church in Jay and the Men With Vision Organizaton.
Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents, Lafayette and Menirva Carter Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Melvojo Ward, of Jay Fla.; a daughter, Joan (Gary) Mondor, of Covington, La.; a son, David Ward, of Milton, Fla.: grandchildren, Shannon and Jason Ward, Misti, Melodie and Micah Mondor; a great grandchildren, Ethan Pugh; three sister, Lottie Little, of Panama City, Gladys Renfroe of Pensacola, Erlene (George) Williamson, of Brewton, Ala.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 1997 at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Rosser pastor at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Ward, Roy Ward, Vernon McCurdy, David NalI, Freddy Brown, and Derrill Starling.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Mt. Carmel Church.
