Two-year-old Richard L. Weinberg died in a Dallas hospital Tuesday after an unsuccessful operation to remove a piece of rubber from his lung. He had picked it up from a floor mat and swallowed it.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth A. Wienberg of Mesquite.
Besides the boy's parents, survivors are a brother, Ellsworth Weinberg Jr.; a sister, Pamela Weinberg, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Larrimore of Shelbyville, Ill.
