Mrs. Jennie Richardson Dies, Rites Set Today
Mrs. Jennie Richardson, 65, of Springfield, died yesterday at Our Lady of the Lake hospital at 12:10 p. m. after a short illness.
A member of the Methodist church, and a resident of Springfield for the past 60 years, she was a widow of the late Isaac S. Richardson.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p. m. from the residence in Springfield. Interment will be in the Carter cemetery with the Rev. Boyd officiating.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by three sons, Murphy E. and L. A. of Baton Rouge, and Phillip of Springfield; six daughters, Mrs. Henry Tycer, Holden, Mrs. Fanancy Anzalone, Independence, Miss Esther Richardson, Springfield, Mrs. Clyde V. Downing, Jr., Baton Rouge, Mrs. Cullen Kennedy, Springfield, Mrs. John McKigney, Springfield; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ernest Bankston, Holden, Mrs. Harry Kennedy, Springfield and Mrs. Strickland Bankston, Springfield; two brothers, John Wall, Gonzales, Kemp Wall, New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Yates of Gonzales, Mrs. Charles Holden, Holden and 18 grandchildren.
