Mary Richardson Is Bride of Mr. Bunch
Miss Mary Richardson of Springfield said her wedding vows to Mr. Clarence Bunch of Phoenix, Ariz., Sunday afternoon at the Blood River Church of God near Springfield, with the Rev. Vernis Wolfe officiating.
The church was beautifully decorated with roses and sweet peas, and the altar, in front of which the double ring ceremony was performed, was arranged with white sprays of spring flowers.
Just before the bridal party entered the church, Mr. Ernest Barnum of Hammond sang "Because." He was accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Harry Goekler of Hector, Minn., who is a sister of the bride. Mrs. Goekler also played the wedding march.
The bride wore a light-weight spring suit of white with white accessories. She carried a white Bible from which hung streamers of white satin ribbons.
Attending the bride was Miss Stella Kennard of Hammond. She wore a light yellow spring suit with pale blue accessories and a lovely corsage of sweet peas like that of the bride.
Mr. Vernon Lobdell of Springfield served as best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Richardson.
Mrs. Bunch was graduated from Southeastern Louisiana college at Hammond and for the past several years has been a member of the Maurepas school faculty.
Mr. Bunch, who is just back from overseas, where he served in the Southwest and Central Pacific campaigns, will return to his former position as photographer in studios in Phoenix, where the young couple will live.
