Steven Vaccaro Funeral at St. Stephen's Church
The funeral of Steven Vaccaro, president of John Bonura and Company, produce merchants, who died at his home Sunday afternoon, will be held from St. Stephen's Church, Napoleon avenue and Camp street, Tuesday at 10 a. m. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.
For many years, Mr. Vaccaro has been prominent in the fruit and produce business in New Orleans. He was 44 years old and the son of Joseph Vaccaro, president of Vaccaro Brothers, fruit importers.
Elks Lodge No. 30, of which he was a member, will participate in the funeral ceremonies. Besides his father and mother, Mr. Vaccaro is survived by four brothers, all of whom are in the fruit business in New Orleans, and one daughter, Mrs. Joseph C. Menendez of New Orleans.

President of John Bonura Company Was Known Throughout West
The death several days ago of Stephen Vaccaro, president of John Bonura and Company, Inc., is considered a loss to the business field of New Orleans.
Mr. Vaccaro was widely acquainted here as well as in St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City and the West, and possesed a thorough knowledge of business conditions here and elsewhere.
When fourteen years of age, My. Vaccaro entered the business establishment of his father, Joseph Vaccaro, who later admitted him to partnership in the firm of Joseph Vaccaro & Son. After serving here many years with the firm, Mr. Vaccaro moved to St. Louis, where he entered business for himself. His health failing, he was compelled to retire from active work for a time, later resuming business here with the Bonura firm.
Messages of condolence have been received by Mr. Vaccaro's family from friends throughout the country. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. J. C. Benendez; father, Joseph Vaccaro, president of Vaccaro Brothers and Company, fruit importers; mother; four brothers, John Vaccaro, L. J. Vaccaro, Felix Vaccaro, Joseph Vaccaro, Jr., and three sisters, Mrs. S. D'Antoni, Mrs. Paul Havener and Miss V. Dantoni.
