Obituary
Keith Alan Reilly, 63, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, after a courageous and grace-filled battle with illness. Keith was born on February 2, 1962, to Harry and Joan Reilly. He was a devoted husband to LaPhon Holston Reilly for 38 wonderful years, a loving father to Patrick Alan Reilly (Rebecca) and Peyton Reilly, and a brother to Kevin (Joan), Jeff (Stacy), and Renee (John). He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Patti Holston, and a host of beloved nephews and his niece.
Keith received his BSN at Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama. He completed his MBA at Samford University.
A faithful member of North River Church, Keith served as an ordained deacon and gave generously of his time across several ministry teams. He also shared his passion for learning and faith as a teacher for the LCBF.
From a young age, Keith's life was marked by service and integrity. A proud Boy Scout and later a devoted Scout Master for his sons' troops, Keith was also a member of the Order of the Arrow, continuing his legacy of leadership and mentorship.
Keith had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. He found joy in gardening, wood carving, and hiking in the mountains. A licensed Ham radio operator, he enjoyed connecting with others in meaningful ways. He was known for using "Super Thrive" to nurture plants and generously shared his knowledge and recipes with fellow gardeners.
Those who knew Keith will remember him as a kind, polite, and quiet soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand. His strength, humility, and faith were evident in every chapter of his life, especially during his final battle.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to his "Blood Brothers and Sisters" for their steadfast support and love throughout Keith's journey. Sandra Collins, Shelba Stroud, Kelly Walker, Gayle Davis, Tara Bullock Arrington, Laura Henry Rose, Kevin Krieger and Toby Wilson.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
