EFFLER, MRS. STARLING TILLEY
Died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1981, in Gonzales. She was 53, a native and resident of Ponchatoula. Visiting at Harry
McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, Monday from 8.a.m. until religious services at 2 plm. Burial in
Jerusalem Cemetery.
Survived by three sons, Charles W. Griffin, Ponchatoula, Ronald Griffin, Livingston, and Claude E. Griffin, Denham Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Benny (Earleen) Methvien, Gonzales; two stepsons, Dewitt Effler, Walker, and
Albert Rodriguez, St. Amant; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Julia Ladner, Port Vincent, Mrs. Ella Welch, Mrs. Mabel
McMaree and Mrs. Dollie Frazier, all of Greensboro; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Effler; and parents, Charles and Sally Tilley.
