The bride wore a simple draped gown of white La France satin, trimmed in silver ribbon, her veil held in place with a band of satin around her head. She carried a shower boquet of Easter lilies. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, E. Franklin Poston of Dallas, Texas.
Miss Olive Womack, maid of honor, wore a beautiful gown or pink georgette and carried an arm boquet of pink sweet peas.
Miss Marie Peterson, bride's maid, wore a girlish frock of pink organdie. She carried a boquet of jonquils.
The ring bearer, Juanita Ott carried the ring in the heart of and Easter lily. Maurine Henderson, the flower girl, carried a basket of stalks and ferns. Both tiny tots wore white ruffled organdie frocks.
The ceremony was preceeded by a musical program. The quartette, Miss Mable Kirkpatrick, Mrs. C. F. Downing, Mr. Tony Colvin and Mr. E. P. Hill, sang "Love's Old Sweet Song." Miss Kirkpatrick sang a double number, "Calm as the Night," and "Oh Promise Me." Mrs. Downing and Miss Kirkpatrick sang Hoffman's "Barcarole."
The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding Processional "Govette" by Wagner, was played through the ceremony.
After congratulations the wedding party left the church to the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding Recessionat, Miss Harriet Hover presiding at the piano. The church was beautifully decorated in Easter lilies, ferns and candles.
