Gretchen Crane funeral is today
Funeral services for Gretchen Thayer Crane will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lake Lawn Funeral Home in Metairie. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2.
Mrs. Crane, a native of New Orleans, died Sunday. She was 87.
She is survived by two sons, George E. Crane Jr. and Raymond T. Crane; three daughters, Betty Crane Deimel, Gretchen crane Werner and Dorothy Crane Lindsley; a brother, Ernest C. Thayer; and 26 grandchildren.

Crane Jr., Betty Crane Deimel, Gretchen Crane Werner, Dorothy Crane Lindsley, Raymond T. Crane and the late Robert H. Crane, sister of Ernest C. Thayer; also survived by 26 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blbd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, May 7, 1984, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon 1 p.m. until service time.
