Rites Sunday For Carl Stuber Sr.
Services for Carl F. Stuber Sr., 76, 3671 Vine St., killed by a train in Norwood Wednesday night, will be at 10:45 a. m. Saturday at the Busse & Borgmann Funeral Home, 3464 Central Pky., with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves.
Mr. Stuber retired 10 years ago after 44 years as a motorman, then motor coach operator, for the Cincinnati Transit Co. He was walking on railroad tracks under the Section Avenue bridge, Norwood, Wednesday night when hit by the engine of an N&W passenger train.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie Stuber; one son, Carl C. Stuber, Cincinnati; one daughter, Mrs. Alverta Jordan, Cincinnati; nine grand-children and 14 great-grand-children.
