Per Bobby Terry Obituary
Born November 11, 1932 In Hope, Arkansas, Bobby "Bob" Terry received his heavenly reward on July 24, 2022.

Bob lived a life of service, curiosity and joy. After serving his country in the Air Force, he earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arizona. He worked as an engineer on the Alaskan Pipeline and was a Contracts Administrator for the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco) in Saudi Arabia for 17 years.

Bob lived life with gusto, excelling in anything that caught his interest. He was an expert horseshoe thrower, a scratch golfer, an avid fisherman and gardener. He enjoyed solving the CryptoQuote and Sudoko in the daily paper. An excellent cook and baker, his slow-baked country ribs, oatmeal cookies, and banana-nut bread are legendary, and he knew exactly when to pull the garlic bread out of the oven (most of the time!).

Bob had a special sense of style and always stepped out in coordinated outfits, especially on the golf course. His glow-in-the-dark, lime-green ensemble with matching Crocs is especially noteworthy. He loved playing golf and bonding with his extended family. Even up until his last few weeks, he consistently hit 200-yard drives right down the middle of the fairway, and he always putt "for the dough"!

Bob set an quiet example of grace and gratitude. He always put the comfort and care of others first. An early riser, he would often cook breakfast for the crew, whistling and singing the Jeff Buckley song "Hallelujah" all the while. He was close to the Lord and thanked God for every new day.

Special thanks from the family to Velma Ingram for her loving care of Bob and his sweet wife Seika during the final phase of their life journey.

Bob will be missed by countless friends and family across the country and the world. A memorial service will be held on ?? at ?? In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of Baton Rouge or the Methodist Church of Diamondhead, Mississippi.
