Miss Esther Price, daughter of Mrs. "W. E. Price, of this city, and Walter L. Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ford, of this city, were united in marriage Sunday evening at 6 o'clock by the Rev. Doyle Mullen, at the Christian parsonage here. Witnessing the ceremony were the bride's brother, Lawson Price, Miss Helen Lyons, of Brook, Daryl Ford, brother of the groom, and Miss
Marie Minor. Mr. and Mrs. Ford will reside in Wolcott, where the bride is manager of a beauty shop and where they will operate a barber and beauty shop combined. The couple are both graduates of Rensselaer high school, and the groom has been employed in his father's barber shop here. He is also manager of the Harmony Aces dance orchestra. The bride was graduated from Warner college in Fort Wayne.

WOLLCOTT \emdash Esther P. Ford, 93, of Wolcott, died at 12:30 am. Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in Monticello Assisted Living & Healthcare.
Born Dec. 25, 1912, in Rensselaer, she graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1930 and Beauty Culture College in Fort Wayne in 1933.
Her marriage was to Walter L. Ford on June 16, 1935, in Rensselaer. He died April 13, 1988.
Mrs. Ford was a self-employed beauty operator all of her working life and retired in 2003 because of failing health.
She was a member of the Wolcott United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Wolcott Lions Club and a 50-year member of the Wolcott Order of Eastern Star 171.
She enjoyed fishing and her garden.
Surviving is a son, Lyle K. Ford (wife: Jackie) of Ocala, Fla.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 in Foster-Clapper Funeral Home, Wolcott, Pastor Paul Champion officiating. Interment will be in Wolcott
Cemetery. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grand-children and 1 great-great-grandchild. Three sisters and 1 brother preceded in death.
