Carolyn Tassin St. Pierre of Bridge City, LA on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 10:10 PM. Beloved wife of the late Ferril Anthony St. Pierre, Sr. Beloved mother of Rene Morris St. Pierre and his wife Sandi Berthelot St. Pierre. Grandmother of Caden Anthony St. Pierre and Bailey Davis. Stepmother of Allison St. Pierre Prendergast , Ferril Anthony St. Pierre, Jr. and Michelle St. Pierre Hanning. Daughter of the late Antoine Tassin and Mildred Robichaux Tassin. At the time of her death, Mrs. St. Pierre was an in-home quilter and seamstress and an active parishioner of Holy Guardian Angels Church. She previously worked as a secretary for Avondale Shipyards and was involved with the Bridge City Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. Age 66 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Prayers from the Parlor of WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. Visitation at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Carolyn Tassin St. Pierre, a self-employed seamstress, died Thursday of a heart attack at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 66. Ms. St. Pierre was born in New Orleans and lived in Bridge City for many years. Survivors include her son, Rene Morris St. Pierre; a stepson, Ferril Anthony St. Pierre; two stepdaughters, Allison S. Prendergast and Michelle S. Hanning; and two grandchildren. A Mass was said Saturday. Burial was in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.
