SULLIVAN , DALTON WINFREY "WINDY"

A retired educator and retired from State National Life Insurance Co., he died at 3 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2001, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. He was 69 and a resident and native of Holden. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Richard Wallace. Interment at Stafford Cemetery, Holden.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Dean Bankston Sullivan of Holden; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Don Hodges of Troy, Texas; a granddaughter, Casi Pursley of Hewitt, Texas; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Pursley of Hewitt; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy H. and Ollie Whitehead Sullivan .

He was a member and deacon of Magnolia Baptist Church in Holden. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Magnolia Baptist Church Building Fund, 21445 La. 442, Holden, LA 70744. The family wishes to thank the numerous friends and relatives who have supported him for the last five years.
