Deceased Name: Homer Stroud
Memorial services for Homer J. Stroud, 77, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside. He died Wednesday of congestive heart failure at Western Medical Center in Anaheim.
Internment will be private.
Mr. Stroud, who was born in Sand Springs, Okla., lived in Riverside 50 years. He owned Strouds Mobile Home Transporting in Riverside for 20 years before retiring in 1988.
He graduated from Sand Springs High School in Sand Springs, Okla., in 1937.
Mr. Stroud was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Riverside.
He belonged to Elks Lodge 643 in Riverside.
Mr. Stroud enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; three daughters, Donna Netherton of Farmington, Iowa, and Renee and Karen Stroud, both of Riverside; and eight grandchildren.
