Earl Stonecypher, 15, 3231 Belfast street, received multiple lacerations of the face and head Monday night, according to police, when the automobile in which he was riding with his father, John Stonecypher, ran on the sidewalk and struck a pole at Dorgenois street and Washington avenue. The elder Stonecypher, who was driving the auto, said that he was blinded by rain.

STONECYPHER - Of 2520 De Soto street, on Saturday, February 12, 1949, at 3:10 p. m., JOHN A. STONECYPHER: husband of Lillian Galle; father of Earl, Clayton, John Jr., Home and James Stonecypher; also survived by three grandchildren. A native of Buford, Ga.
Relatives and friends of the familty are invited to attend the funeral on Sunday, February 13, 1949, at 4 o'clock p. m., from the Laudumiey funeral home, 1225 North Rampart street, near Gov. Nicholls. Religious services at St. Rose de Lima church.
Interment in St. Louis No. 3 cemetery, Esplanade avenue.
