STONECYPHER James Leo Stonecypher passed away on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Beloved son of the late Lillian Galle Stonecypher and John A. Stonecypher. Brother of the late Earl, Homer, Clayton and John Stonecypher, Jr. Survived by nieces and nephews: Clayton Stonecypher, Jr. Sharon S. Bannon, Joan Stonecypher, Jan S. Hoffman, Jane Stonecypher, Johnny Stonecypher, Craig Stonecypher, David Stonecypher, and the late Jean S. Sclafani. Mr. Stonecypher was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA except for the past 4 .5 years he resided in Covington, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve for 6 years. He worked at LaNasa Hardware Company for 25 years and maintenance supervisor for Sisters of St. Joseph for 15 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 12:00 noon.
