The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Martha Gail Guedry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Lee Guedry, to Mr. James Thomas Skelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patrick Skelly of this city, is announced by her parents. The wedding will take place February 26 at 11 o'clock in the morning in the Church of Holy Name of Jesus on St. Charles avenue. immediately following the ceremony there will be a reception held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guedry in Lake Vista.
Miss Guedry graduated from Ursuline college, and Mr. Skelly graduated from Loyola university and is attending the Loyola school of law.

New Orleans Wedding To Interest Many Here
_ A wedding of interest to many Baton Rougeans will take place this morning at 11 o'clock at the Holy Name of Jesus church in New Orleans when marriage vows will be said by Martha Gail Guedry and James Patrick Skelly.
Miss Guedry is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Lee Guedry of New Orleans and Mr. Skelly is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Skelly of Algiers.
Both the bride and groom have many relatives and friends in Baton Rouge.
Immediately following the ceremony a reception will be held at the home of the bride-elect's parents at No. 6 Azalea Lane.
The couple will leave on a honeymoon after the wedding and will make their home in New Orleans on returning.
The Rev. Henry Monteclno. Jr.. S. J. whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Montecino are resident of Baton Rouge. will perform the ceremony. He is a cousin of the bride-elect. Mr. Myles Morrison of Baton Rouge. a cousin of the groom-elect, will be one of the groomsmen.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Burt. Jr., aunt and uncle of the bride, elect, will be among those from here attending the wedding.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 724 Camp Street, on Saturday, November 9, 2002, at 10:00 am. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations by made to James T.
