Compassionate and caring husband of Jennifer Bowler Solar. Devoted father of Kayln Claire Solar, Brooke Cristen Solar, Adelé Rose Solar and Rockford "Tré" Charles Solar, III. Grandfather of Khia Isabella Solar. Son of Norma Rosalinda Gautreaux Solar and Rockford Charles Solar, Sr. Stepson of Sandy Silbernagel Solar. Brother of Tina Marie Solar and Richie Parker. Grandson of Hildagarde Huber. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 41 years. A native of Houma and a resident of Luling for the past 5 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
