John Franklin Moses, aged 54 years, 1 month and 19 days, passed away at his home in St. Louis. Saturday, February 15th, shortly before noon following a prolonged illness, although he was not seriously ill until a couple of days before death occurred. Besides the widow, Mr. Moses is survived by three sons, two of whom are operators of the Connelly Service Station between Ironton and Pilot Knob, a daughter and other relatives to whom the Register offers sympathy. Services were conducted from White's Chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. E. M. Bartley, officiating, with interment in the new Memorial Park cemetery. Moses formerly lived here.
