He was naturalized a citizen on 5th of October, 1870. Also, I told you the wrong church where he and Anna were married on 14, July, 1866. It was not St. Stephens (That was another of my grandparents) it was Holy Trinity Catholic Church (No longer in existence)

Hi Bill,

According to my research, William's death notice mentioned two brothers, Andrew and Charles. I have checked records in Germany and have found

Carl (or Charles) bap. 14, Jan 1844 in Heuchelheim, Bergzabern, Pflaz, Bayern
Andrew, bap 3 Nov 1839, Heuchelheim Bergzabern, Pfalz, Bayern.
William (Wilhelm), bap 15 Aug 1836, Goecklingen, Pfalz, Bayern

All children of Karl Silbernagel and Margaretha Koehler

I don't think Carl came to NO because I found a marriage record (m. 12 Jul 1868) for him to Margaretha Dillman (b.1 Sept 1845) at the First Presbyterian Church in New York. I don't have a death record for Carl.

I am almost positive that the Andrew married to Fredericka Salzer is his brother because the age is the same as the brother, Andrew.

I cannot answer if the Andre who immigrated through New York is our Andrew. I don't have their immigration records.

You are not being a pest. I am happy to share what information I have. If I can be of further help, please let me know.

Love to you and your girls!

Dianne
