Silbernagel, of Metairie, La., on Thursday, December 24, 1981, at 3 p.m., beloved husband of Mrs. Annamae Stieffel Silbernagel, foster father of Mrs. Nell Bourgeois, Mrs. Jane Olivier, brother Mrs. Helena Guerin, Mrs. Evelyn LeBlanc, Mr. Andrew and John Silbernagel and the late William Silbernagel, son of the late John and Helena Hayes Silbernagel; age 56 years, a native of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends of the family and officers and members of Square and Compass Lodge No. 417 F.&A.M. and employees of Avondale Shipyards are invited to attend the funeral services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview, on Saturday morning, December 26, 1981, at 11 a.m. Christian Burial Mass in Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Interment Metairie Cemetery. (in lieu of flowers make contributions to Alton Ochsner Hospital Department of Pediatrics and Neurology in the name of Thomas L. Silbernagel).
