BOY, 13, SHOT BY AIR RIFLE SLIGHTLY HURT
Joseph Servoy, 11 years old, 3054 Royal street, was slightly injured Thursday noon when shot in the jaw by an air rifle held, according to police, by Joseph Silvernagle, 13 years old, 3107 Dauphine street. Sevoy was treated in the Charity hospital.
Silvernagle, police say, seized the air rifle from Dan Ryan, 11 years old, 733 Montegut street, as Servoy passed the corner of Royal and Clourt streets. There was no quarrel between the bows, according to police. Affidavits will be filed against Silvernagle and Ryan in the juvenile court, police say.

A long article about two thieves who stole a car and held up the St. Claude branch of Interstate Bank and Trust Company on St. Claude avenue and Mazant street, shortly before 10 a. m. Thursday and escaped with approximately $2300. The stolen car was found and traced to a house where that night one of the two suspects, John Anderson of Knoxville, Tennessee was found and arrested with $936 of the money. The other suspect was believed to have purchased a car that afternoon and escaped to Mississippi.

Employees in the bank who were held up were Henry Lobit, 59, 2205 Arts street, bank manager; Mrs. T. P. Grace, 1307 Frenchmen street, teller; Rene Jeanfreau, 17, 929 Poland street, bookkeeper, and Larsen.
Joseph Silvernagle, 21, 832 Clouet street, employed in the branch bank of the Hibernia Bank and Trust Company, 4121 St Claude avenue, saw the bandit pair enter. He stepped into a grocery store and telephoned police that the robbery was in progress. The bandits finished their work and left the bank before he emerged from the store, he told Captain Smith.
