Anthony Jacob "AJ" "Pops" Silbernagel entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 30 years to Tammy Lemoine Silbernagel. Son of the late Louis L. Silbernagel and Lenora Coronna Silbernagel. Loving and devoted father of Chase Michael Reneman (Hope) and Jared Anthony Silbernagel (Saige). Loving Grandfather of Jacob David Silbernagel and Wyatt James Silbernagel. Brother of Dale Silbernagel and the late Donna Silbernagel LaCaze, Carol O'Brien, Tommy J. Silbernagel and Alan Sessum. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Anthony was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Luling, Louisiana.
He retired from Northrop Gumman, formally Avondale Shipyards.
