Funeral Services from Residence on Tuesday Afternoon at 2 O'Clock
Mrs. Dessie Mullen Wykoff, wife of Connor Wykoff, passed away at the Dunn hospital Sunday evening at 6:35 after an illness of some weeks, due to kidney trouble. .
Mrs. Wykoff was the daughter of the late Thomas Mullen and Mrs. Barbara Mullen Mikels, of this city. She was born at Norman Station, April 13th, 1894, making her age at time of death 32 years, 7 months and 1 day.
She was united in marriage to Connor Wykoff July 29th, 1913, and to their union was born three children, Harold, aged 11 years, Gerald, aged 6 years and Ethel May, aged three years, who with their father survive. Mrs. Wykoff is also survived by her mother and one half brother, Ralph Alexander, of this city.
In her early youth Mrs. Wykoff united with the Christian church and lived a life of faithful adherence to
its teachings- She was a member of the Gleaner's Class of the Sunday school of the First Christian church of this city.
. Funeral services will be conducted from the family residence Tuesday aflternoon at two o'clock, Rev. A. Homer Jordan, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill cemetery.
