Francis J. Selman, on Tuesday morning, November 19, 1974 at 2 o'clock. Husband of Rosemary LeBesque. ather of James L. Selman II and Dr. Francis L. Selman Jr. Mother of Mrs. Gardere F. Moore and Mrs. Julian G. Moore, and the late James Benjamin Selman. Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Private funeral services and requiem mass from the House of Bultman, St. Charles Ave. at La. Ave., on Wednesday morning, November 20, 1974 at 9:30 o'clock.
Interment was in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2 (Canal St.)
Contributions to American Cancer Society preferred.

SELMAN RITES ARE HELD HERE
Private funeral services for Francis J. Selman, a long-time New Orleans insurance executive, were held Wednesday from the House of Bultman, 3338 St. Charles Avenue.
Interment followd at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2.
Mr. Selman died Tuesday morning at Touro Infirmary, following a lengthy illness. He was 74.
A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Mr. Selman served in the U.S. Marine Corps during both world wars, retiring in 1950 as a Reserve Major.
He is survived by his widow, Rosemary LeBesque Selman; two sons, James Larkin Selman II and Dr. Francis J. Selman Jr.; and six grandchildren.
