Death of Jobe Miller
Jobe Miller, 78 years old, died at his home in Lamar Monday morning. He was born in Indiana
May 5, 1854. He lived in western Kansas for a number of years before moving on a farm which he bought three miles northwest of Jasper. After selling his farm he moved with his family to Lamar where he died.
On Monday the 17th of this month he fell at his home and broke his leg. He was in poor health and the accident was the indirect cause of his death.
He is survived by his wife and one son, Myron at home and a brother Tom Miller also of Lamar.
The funeral services were held at the home in Lamar 2:30 Tuesday afternoon conducted by Geo. Johnson of Jasper and with Teeter Bros. undertakers in charge. Burial was in Jasper Masonic cemetery.
