Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Schnetzer Hayes, 73, were conducted with a requiem high mass in St. Lawrence Church Monday at 9 a. m., with the pastor, Rt. Rev. Msgr. William Kreis, officiating. Burial was in Greendale cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes died at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Thursday at: 4:30 p. m.
She was born in Batesville, Feb 10, 1871, a daughter of George and Louise Kuebel Schnetzer, and married Otho Hayes, Who died in April 1938.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of St. Lawrence Church and St. Ann's Ladies' Society. She made her home with her sister Mrs. Clara Schoeny of Front street.
Survivors include four brothers, Charles, George, Joseph, and Frank Schnetzer of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Mrs. Schoeny and Mrs. Louise Horn of Lawrenceburg; 12 nieces; seven nephews; three grandnieces and two grand-nephews. A brother, William Schnetzer, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Dayton, also preceded her in death.
