There are two related Hayes families living next to each other on U S Route 33
Claude Hayes is the 66 year old white male head of household, born in Ohio, lived in the same house in 1935, as did all other members of both families unless noted otherwise. Claude, educated through 6th grade, is a farmer, and in the last week of March worked 50 hours. He worked 48 weeks in 1939, and earned no wages, but had other income over $50.
