Beloved husband of Emma Frickey and of Mabel Hebert Blanchard by first marriage, father of Mrs. Alvin (Dorothy) Roche, Mrs. Gordon (Pearl) Cordes, step-father of Mrs. Richard (Sarah) Dufrene, brother of Henry Blanchard, Mrs. Lucille Landry and the late Lawrence, Eugene and Raymond Blanchard, son of the late Cyprien and Eugenie Poinboeuf Blanchard, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Age 81 years. A native of Labadieville, Louisiana and a resident of Des Allemands, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend A Mass Of Christian Burial from the Chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 2241 Magazine St., New Orleans, La. at 12 o'clock Noon Saturday, October 4, 1986. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 until 10 O'Clock P.M. on Friday, October 3, 1986 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church Des Allemands, La. and from 9 A.M. until funeral time at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
