Dorothy Rohner Pickering, a homemaker, died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 1, 2006, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 74 and a native of the community of Jack, near Greensburg.

Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., until religious service in the chapel, conducted by Deacon James Wax. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

She is survived by three daughters, Gail Rogillio, Sharon Waddell and Pamela Guidry; four sisters, Nelda Boyd, Elaine Sells, Betty DeCuir and Victoria "Jean" Rohner; two brothers, James Rohner and Floyd Rohner; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Pickering; parents, Leon and Mildred Rohner; sister, Joanna Creason; and five brothers, Clarence, Elzie, Glen, Joe and Elton Rohner.
