ROBBINS RITES PLANNED TODAY

Funeral services for George P. Robbins Jr., president of Robbins & Robbins Inc., will be conducted at 11 a. m. Saturday from the House of Bultman, 3338 St. Charles ave., followed by interment in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
The Rev. Walter D. Langtry, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, will officiate.
Mr. Robbins, a native of Menominee, Mich., died Thursday at Baptist Hospital. He had been a manufacturers' agent in New Orleans for the past 38 years, representing the Allen-Bradley Co. of Milwaukee, Wis., The Falk Corp., also of Milwaukee, and Healy-Ruff Water Level Controls of St. Paul, Minn.
A graduate of Chamberlain Hunt Military Academy, Mr. Robbins also held a degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from Tulane University.
He held memberships in Metairie Country Club, Louisiana State Board of Registered Professional Engineers, American Institute of Electrical Engineers, Louisiana Engineering Society, Chamber of Commerce, Electrical Association of New Orleans, and the First Presbyterian Church of New Orleans.
Mr. Robbins also was a Mason and belonged to several Carnival organizations.
Survivors include his widow, Lora Hagen Robbins; a son, George Peter Robbins III; a daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Denver of Monroe, La.; a sister, Mrs. Helene Robbins Cope of Wilmington, Del., and four grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Rene Crane Jr., R. Richard Hagen, Morrel Crane, Dr. James Hagen, Dr. Worner Hagen and Herbert Meade Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. Morrell Miller, Rene Crane Sr., D. B. Schell, D. T. Ranna, R. Richard Hagen Sr., Dr. Mannie Mallowitz, Edwin J. Jannsen, James Hagen Sr., and Charles Hagen.
