RATHKE -- In this city, Saturday, March 7, 1896, at 11:45 a. m., JOHN FREDERICK RATHKE, beloved husband of Christine J. Walter, aged 42 years and 8 months, a native of Algiers, La.

The relatives and acquaintances of the family and those of his mother, Mrs. John Rathke, and father-in-law , Mr. H. R. Walter, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place This (Sunday) Evening at 8 o'clock, from his late residence, No. 523 Josephine street, between Fulton and Rousseau streets. Interment in Algiers cemetery.

I have Lafayette No 1 tombstone pictures for Ruth Rathke, wife of Geo. E. Pearce, and H.P.W. Rathke who died in the navy. Don't know relationship yet.
