Per The book Stories from an American Family 1705-2005 volume 2 page 145, Joseph Bennett married Sarah Watts and had children, John, Elizabeth and Mary. I believe the book is wrong, and the Joseph Bennett who married Sarah Hayes and had those children was Joseph, son of James Bennett.
