Died Friday, Oct. 11, 1985, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Springfield and resident of Baton Rouge. Graveside services at Carter Cemetery, Springfield, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Survived by husband, Clyde V. Downing, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Gladys Treece, Denham Springs, Esther Richardson and Edith Bankston, both of Ponchatoula, and Jessie McKigney, Springfield; two brothers, Philip Richardson, Springfield, and Murphy Richardson, Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., in charge of arrangements.
