NOLA PRENDERGAST MARKS
Nola Prendergast Marks, a former sitter at Baptist Hospital, died Wednesday at Our Lady of Wisdom nursing home. She was 84. Mrs. Marks was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a graduate of Dominican High School. She was a former parishioner of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Survivors include five daughters, Pamela M. Meyer, Ann Marks, Nola M. Gordy, Diane M. Harvey and Sally M. Burke; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Wisdom Chapel, 5600 Gen. de Gaulle Drive. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1. McMahon-Coburn-Briede Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
