John Aloysius Reese Jr., retired chief electrician for the city of New Orleans, died Tuesday at his home. He was 80. Mr. Reese was born in New Orleans and lived in Bay St. Louis, Miss., for the past six years. He attended Delgado Community College and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Claire Schilling Reese ; a son, John A. Reese III; and a daughter, Susan Mary Reese .
A Mass will be said today at 12:15 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
