EZRA FREEMAN McCRACKEN
Ezra Freeman McCracken was born Feb. 4, 1855 and died March 7, 1938 at the age of 83 years and 23 days.
He was married to Annie Whittenberg March 1, 1884 to whom were born four children, one of whom died
in infancy. Surviving are: Mrs. lda McDonald of Powell, Mo; Wilbur McCracken of Neosho, Mo., route one:
and Albert McCracken of Anderson, Mo, route three. He moved to McDonald county from Kansas about 40
years ago.
He was converted at an early age and became a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving besides the widow and children are 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. one sister in Indiana. and a brother in Joplin.
Although his suffering was intense, he was never cross. He was always cheerful and had a smile for everyone until the end.
