Piontkowski - Morrison
Mr. Leonard Michael Piontkowski, son of Mrs. Casimir Piontkowski of 28 S. 33rd st. and the late Mr. Piontkowski, took as his bride Saturday morning Miss Anne Regina Morrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis James Morrison of 932 Somerset at Gloucester City.
Rev. Edward A. Buckley officiated at the 10 o'clock Mass in St. Mary's Church, Gloucester.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, had chosen a gown of candlelight delustred satin, the surplice bodice detailed with a pearl and crystal bead motif at the V neckline. A self-fabric rose accented the back waist, and the bouffant skirt swept into a cathedral train, edged with jeweled detailing. Her fingertip veil was held by an orange blossom crown, and she carried white orchids and stephanotis on a prayer book.
Mrs. Thomas E. Williams Jr. of Washington. D.C.. attended her sister as matron of honor in a bell skirted model of gold delustred satin fashioned with a square neckline and a self-fabric obi sash. Emerald green gowns, identically styled, were worn by the bridesmaids, Miss Eileen Murphy, Miss Patricia Ragen and Miss Mary Berckman of Gloucester and Miss Rosemary Kelly of National Park, the bride's cousin. Their headpieces were created by a dress-matching cabbage rose edged with a face veil. The honor attendant carried green and brown orchids and the
bridesmaids' bouquets were of yellow roses.
Mr. Ralph C. Dever Jr. of this city acted as best man, and ushers included Mr. Cleto Luartes of Collingswood, Mr. Edward Morrison of Gloucester, the bride's brother, Mr. Kenneth Lithicum of this city and Mr. Williams Jr.
A reception followed at Kenney's. After a wedding trip to Florida, Mr. Piontkowski and his bride will take up residence at 123 S. Glassboro rd., Woodbury Heights.
